Mount vernon
This morning hubby and his mum came to fetch me early in the morning to join them at mount Vernon. This was the first time i join them to pay respect to hubby's grandfather. Unlike grams, he was at mount Vernon, a place where i only see on tv!
We went over to fetch his grandmother then head on to mount Vernon. When we reached, POPO(I follow him to address) get down to pay respect to some one else then we move on to his grandfather.
Auntie Amy and auntie Jessie already reach, and behind us there was uncle ah fei's family. They just offer flower to the grandfather then they go far away to wait for popo to finish her thing. Hubby brought me to see his grandfather, it was the first time after so long!
Well after we pay our respect, we went on to the Singapore Chinese club to meet auntie ah ho for lunch. That place was posh and the food was superb, except for the Cesar salad dressing which was a bit too sour.
Both hubby and i was tired, as soon as we reach home, he just drop dead on the bed while i watch the tv till around 4, i joined him on the bed.
After we wake up, we chill a while before going for dinner. He told me more about his family, although i know almost all of his maternal side relative, but i didn't really get the relationship between them well.
Till today then i find out Corrine is actually aunt Evelyn daughter and the person popo went to pay respect to was Corrine's father, so this ang moh guy is actually aunt eve second husband, well i must say everyone in his maternal family are quite rich.
Auntie Amy earn more than 10 k a month, aunt eve own a 1 million dollar property as her investment, hubby's parent has her own trading company, these people are a total oh my god!
Anyway hui xian(hubby's cousin) is going to Chicago to study, i was quite envy to have a life of hers, but then i am sure my time will come.
Recently hubby kept talking about oversea job opportunity, and auntie Amy asked him to try out Dubai and she is going to help him get a job there, as usual hubby didn't plan to left me all alone here, he said i must follow him then everyday wait for him to come home to have dinner! Fat hope him, maybe go there enjoy myself yes, but not to be his maid!
When we drove back, his mum suggest that he should go apply for a HDB flat as it take 5 to 6 years to get one and by the time he get married, he would have a flat, which was super funny nevertheless we are still looking into it, see how it goes after i graduate or did he go oversea to work first.
Came home just now and receive Evelyn order! I was super thrill as i am almost reaching my target! Being able to earn money is good! Especially when all i need to do is sit behind the computer screen, even though it take some time but then at least it's better than going out there to serve people like those job i used to work.
As for now, i am going to bed! Later got to wake up at 5 plus so that i could hatch a ride to mum's work place! Till then!
